ENTREPRENEUR, INNOVATION & INCUBATION CELL
The management of Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology has to encourage faculty and students to work on research projects that provide responses to a number of industrial and societal issues. This ecosystem needs to involve an incubation center and other initiatives for the creation and transfer of knowledge. The organization will host workshops / seminars / conference including programs conducted on Research Methodology, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and entrepreneurship during the last five years for the benefit of industry-academia and innovative practices. Innovations awards received by the organization, instructors, researchers, students, and start-ups incubated on campus are specifically acknowledged.
Role of the Committee
An Entrepreneur, Innovation, and Incubation Cell (EIIC) typically refers to a specialized unit within an organization, often found in educational institutions or business hubs, dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, nurturing innovation, and providing support to startups and aspiring entrepreneurs. These cells serve as a platform for individuals with innovative ideas to receive guidance, mentorship, networking opportunities, and sometimes financial assistance to turn their ideas into viable businesses.
In academic institutions, EIICs are often part of efforts to promote entrepreneurship and innovation among students and faculty, fostering a culture of creativity, risk-taking, and problem-solving.
Overall, Entrepreneur, Innovation, and Incubation Cells play a vital role in nurturing and supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing essential resources and guidance to startups and entrepreneurs at various stages of their journey.
