Present status

2013-14,2014-15 and 2015-16 daily , monthly and annual data on Generation of Solar PV Energy, Reduction in Carbon Emission are collected

Observation till date

income: 172,048 INR
Produced Energy: 22 MWh

Reduced CO2: 12 ton

Generation is peak on summer months at 49 Kwh per day on cloudy days it 10 Kwh to 20 Kwh

  1. 1.The fog causes poor production in Nov Dec Jan Feb as our college is near Poondi Reservoir and Wet lands with crops

  • Volume of Data is adding on every day

  • Data base management using Big data is explored to manage by  linking other solar PV plants

  • The Indian Met dept is accepted our proposal to provide automatic weather station in second phase to study by linking  climate and Solar Pv Generation factors
